I was one of the lucky people who got his hands early on the Xbox One version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and because the game was a MGS game, I had high hopes for the game. I played the game with excitement and the game nearly kept my excitement … so I sat down, played the game, IN THE 25 MINUTES IT TOOK TO BEAT THE GAME! The game had perfect atmosphere and story, with the blend of the incredible stealth gameplay mixed together in the first mission, and when I beat the first mission, I had beat the game in its entirety! The whole game of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes consists of one main mission, which only takes you 25 minutes to beat! This game is a perfect appetizer, so it should’ve been free of charge, to promote Phantom Pain. The price tag of $30 is incredibly unacceptable! However, this is a QUICK REVIEW, which talks about positive and negative points of a video game and puts it in perspective.
+ The game has the same great feeling and atmosphere of the original Metal Gear Solid games.
+ The graphics are pretty good.
+ The story is phenomenal and just an appetizer to what you will be getting in the Phantom Pain.
+ Gameplay is the same fantastic stealth gameplay of the past Metal Gear Solid games
+ Many characters return from Peace Walker
+ Great Characters
+ Extra Raiden or Classic Snake Mission
- The Price tag is too high for a game this short, this game should’ve been free
- Many texture and frame rate problems
- Bland and uninteresting open world
- EXTREMELY SHORT! COULD BE BEAT IN 25 MINUTES!
- EXTREMELY UNNECESSARY!
- Incredibly disappointing!
- THE GAME IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SCAMS WE HAVE EVER PLAYED!
Overall: The game is disappointing, too short, and is easily a scam created by Kojima and Konami the suck the blood out of your wallets, however, we vote with our money, so do not purchase this game, because this will then become a ongoing scam of companies selling you portions or the demo of a video game. This practice is unacceptable. So maybe, Big Boss should’ve kept us waiting a bit longer, so we could see an actual game, not a scam!
