Yes, it looks as if Titanfall is scaring Call of Duty! Call of Duty Ghosts is going to be free this weekend. The demo will feature three multiplayer maps taken from the original, non-DLC set (Prison Break, Strikezone, and Warhawk), three multiplayer modes (Domination, Search & Rescue, and Team Deatmatch), and it will also include the first map of the co-op mode Extinction. The demo launches on March 7 at 10am PST, and concludes on March 10, although a specific time for when it ends was not listed.
So if you wanted to play Call of Duty but resisted the urge the purchase the game, this is your lucky day to download and try Call of Duty: Ghosts. However, if you want to take my word on it, then don’t even download the demo. Call of Duty: Ghosts is an extremely disappointing and overly generic first person shooter with maps too large for the player count. In other words, the game is pretty horrible! This is just Infinity Ward’s plan to survive Titanfall’s attack on first person shooters. You could see my review by clicking here.
